If you were paying attention to the commercials during the season finale of Lost this week, you may have noticed one that struck you as odd. More on that, but no more top hat, monocle wearing polar bears, after the break.
The commercial in question was for Octagon Global Recruiting, a company which is seeking applicants of any job category. Towards the end of the commercial a web address was provided which can be found here. You can watch the commercial that aired on TV, followed by a screen that shows the following:

Ah, it seems that the mysterious Dharma Initiative is looking for more people to leave underground on secret islands populated by polar bears and smoke monsters. Because the last time they did that it turned out so well. A ditch filled with bodies comes to mind.
If you’re feeling adventurous you can give them your e-mail address. I did so, and so far I haven’t received anything in my inbox. Maybe we’ll have to wait until the date given, or at least a little bit before that to receive anything. I’m interested to see if there will actually be some sort of event on July 24-27.
This isn’t the first time that there have been strange commercials during Lost. Remember that one for the Hanso Foundation, or the ones for Oceanic Airlines? All three of these websites really offer you little information or are very interesting. But hey, why should you expect the show that gets more and more convoluted with each episode to explain anything.
