Create Your Own Superhero Flash Application Mildly Amusing

Over at MarvelKids.com there is a flash application that lets you make your own superhero.  Like most creation flash apps, there are various templates and body parts to fiddle around with.  It’s fun if you have a little time to waste and once you are done you can save what you have made.  See what I came up with after the break.

No Pickles - An Open Letter to Marvel Entertainment Group

For Marvel Entertainment Group;

Joe Quesada, Stan Lee, Avi Arad, and all others whom it may concern -

Marvel Studios has, thus far, proved to be a fantastic venture. The films to come out of Marvel Studios thus far have been truer to the characters, have been better written, and featured ensemble casts. This much cannot be argued. One could argue their effectiveness, i.e. Incredible Hulk’s performance, but the films have been top notch.

However, I don’t believe Marvel Studios is being implemented as effectively as it can be. The studio is a great opportunity because characters that ordinarily would not be given the opportunity to have a large scale theatrical release can be done in a tasteful manner, with a script worthy of the character. It was done with Iron Man, a film I never thought I’d see done right, and, for the most part, Hulk was fixed. That’s all well and good, but I want to see the envelope pushed.

I want to see a full length feature film about Deadpool.

Error on Internet Movie Database Page Makes Blogger Chuckle
