Bale Wants To See More Sex In Batman Movies

I was quite shocked today when I stumbled across this recent quote from Christian Bale:

“I do think there is room for an 18-rated Batman. It’s a little bit tricky to broach the sex aspect of the story when you want kids to come see it as well. I mean, I think it would be very interesting to do a 12 version and an 18 version – two different cuts.”

Boy-o-boy does that get me thinking.

I guess if Bale really wants to see more adult action in Batman movies, then the next film should just take it’s cue from the Thomas Wayne orgy revelation in the ongoing Batman RIP story arc. Tickets sales would surely go through the roof on a movie that features Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Wayne doing the nasty with Alfred and group of anonymous strangers. On second thought having Michael Caine in a sex scene just might destroy my very last shred of sanity.

In all seriousness though I guess a little more sex really couldn’t hurt the Batman movie franchise. As long as it’s handled tastefully. Bruce Wayne is an attractive playboy billionaire so it is logical to assume he has an active sex life. Even if his true passion is crime fighting, he must keep up the apperance of a self-centered billionaire by making love to gorgeous woman. Truly he has a hard life.
