How The Batman Film Franchise Almost Went “Beyond”

In 1999 Warner Brothers was devising a plan for the next Batman film. Ever since the critical and finical failure of 1997’s Batman and Robin, Warner’s had to lay low from the franchise for a while. Several ideas were being thrown around but perhaps the most interesting involved a live action Batman Beyond adaptation.

A Look At Some Lesser-Known Spider-Man Villains

I think most comic book fans will agree that it is Super Villains that are usually responsible for making a good story. Sure the Heroes are the main focus and the reason for reading in the first place. But even the most appealing Super Hero can fall flat if not pitted against an appropriate baddie.

A little over a decade ago, a script started floating around Hollywood entitled Tonight, He Comes about a superhero named Hancock who is the last of his kind in the middle of a PR nightmare. Now, we approach opening day for Hancock, which is set to star Will Smith, and expects to be a contender for the Superhero summer blockbuster, duking it out with Iron Man, which totally blew me away, and The Dark Knight, which you all know I can’t wait to see.

I would, however, love to wait to see Hancock. Actually, I’d love to wait forever - because it looks to me like the movie is going to suck. Read on why after the break.

Oh Sonic 3, Where Art Thou?

Sonic the Hedgehog 1 and 2 have been on Xbox Live Arcade for quite some time now. Don’t get me wrong, I love them, but I’m growing a little tired just playing the first two over and over. I’m really itching to play Sonic the Hedgehog 3 again and I’m too lazy to get out my Genesis to do so.

When I first learned that the Sonic The Hedgehog animated series (also known as SatAM) would be getting a full box set treatment I was thrilled.
